Kettler made items with different brands in cost reduced form from Wal*Mart, Target, Costco etc have possibly separate parts and accessory fitment and a shorter warranty. Brands Kiddio and models like Super Trike, Nitro Extreme, Street Hawk etc are not part of the Kettler first quality main product line. For these store specific items the store where purchased is the only sure source of correct parts.

Radio Flyer wagon and tricycle repair parts and accessories are available only through the factory at 1-800-621-7613 ask for Radio Flyer's customer service. Roadmaster and Flexible Flyer brand sleds, bikes and tricycles: The Roadmaster, Flexible Flyer and Mongoose brands are now part of Pacific Cycles, LLC. formerly Brunswick Bicycles. Note that we have stocked some tricycle hardware parts here but they are no longer sourced for stock to DurableToys.com since the production moved away from Olney, IL. You (customers) can still get parts directly from Pacific Bicycles in Olney on an as-needed basis at 800-626-2811 or 618-393-2991. The Flexible Flyer tricycles are out of production but extremely similar designs are being made and sold by Radio Flyer. You could judge the similarity between your part need and the Radio Flyer product and take the risk that a part from that product will interchange. The Radio Flyer parts contact is listed above.

Flexible Flyer Sleds are out of production in the US. Please look at "Mountain Boy" sleds. We have a printable history of Flexible Flyer courtesy of Pacific Bicycles in Adobe PDF format: ff100y.pdf We have sold out of the US made sleds and those that were briefly manufactured in Taiwan. Some are still out there at some hardware or farm supply stores where product turnover may be slower than major chains. Pacific Bicycles, now owner of the brand, may be looking for a nostalgic benefactor to step up and make more Flexible Flyer sleds. Last we heard- they have a file cabinet with over 100 years of documents to draw from in Olney IL.

Flexible Flyer Toys is a different company from Pacific Bicycles which also uses the Flexible Flyer brand name on product. Flexible Flyer Toys is in West Point MS and they are the company that once made sleds before a merger with Brunswick Bicycles and later split. Now Flexible Flyer Toys makes Flexible Flyer inflatable toys, rocking horses and trampolines and more. Customer service telephone number is 662-494-4732. We do not have an account with Flexible Flyer Toys.

Tires: Valley Road Speeder Wagon, Berlin Express Wagon and Speedway Express Wagon Your local tire store is the best source of these commodity sized tires and inner tubes, see below. For frame repairs local welding or muffler shops are the best option. For wagons purchased from DurableToys.com we can source the correct wheel/tire combination (and axle retainer) or new wood or steel parts by email with the model name or number as described on our web page and the color along with the approximate date of purchase (since the design could vary). For damage beyond a single wheel or for new custom construction consider a wagon frame with a set of wheels and a handle available within our above list.

Dirt King and similar large steel air tire trikes repair parts are standard bicycle parts in the steering head, handlebars, seat and pedals; local bicycle shops and discount stores should stock. Wheel/tires and inner tubes are commodity sizes available through local tire stores, industrial supply and lawn mower dealers. Air Tires, Wheels, Inner tubes: Wheel toys with air tires use commodity sizes of tires although the rim could be more special. More air tire info. You should have access to a tire pump, but be cautious of excessive pressure at commercial services. An inner tube can be patched yourself with a bicycle patch kit or by a pro. A tube can be patched, replaced or added inside a tubeless tire without much disassembly. To assure best match, stay with the same maker if possible and note the axle diameter as well as tire size, and don't forget to request a new axle retainer cap. Otherwise, change only the tire and/or tube as needed to save trouble matching the rim size and offset, bearing, etc. subtle characteristics. Local farm supply, lawn mower and industrial supply stock commodity sizes of wheel/tire sets that match or are close to the originals on larger wheel toys. Tire stores will have tires and tubes and the equipment to change a tire on the same wheel rim. Hard Rubber, Plastic Tire/Wheel Combinations Many hard tires are specific to the maker's design. A close substitue is possible but may have to be fitted in person, there are too many variable to guess long distance. Wheels/tires from larger companies may vary from popular sizes. Other Amish Wagon repair parts: Most complete frames with wheels/tires are listed in our index. Amish wagons use standard hardware and materials that are available locally from hardware stores. Major repairs to frames can be handled by your local welding shop, and even some customization can be fabricated from stock materials. There is virtally no part on an Amish wagon that is crafted with specialized materials or machines. Aside from accident or abuse, a heavy Amish wagon frame that ever fails can only be defective and the maker will stand behind his work. We will source component parts only for items that we sold.

Some additional general help: Every town has welding shops that would be happy to help you. Our little Mayberry of 55,000 has 14 such shops. Auto exhaust specialty shops also have the capability to weld thin steel such as tricycle frames, and one shop in our town offers to fix toys free. These folks can melt metal magically and solve your problem with repairs and fabrication. Paint welded areas right away.
JB Weld is a really hard epoxy repair material that we know works.

Are you interpreting this text without benefit of pictures? It really isn't much different than if you could see the pictures rather than just the "alt" caption and surrounding text. In essence, all customers routinely buy sight- unseen, and we take the risk that customers are satisfied. In fact, a few of our popular products have been sold for years without a photo at all. We try to make our descriptions the most detailed and especially accurate, using manufacturers' part numbers and dimensions to eliminate ambiguity. We intend that all pictures have meaningfully readable captions. Many pictures, including almost all of the newest, are placed on the web page at one-half resolution to allow for enlargement by the browser or to view or save a copy at better magnification. Look for "Enlarge: ..." at the beginning of the alt caption to identify the larger pictures or hover your curser over the image to see if it is a link. Just like Morse code which is heard but not seen, we also have a voice telephone answered during limited business hours on which we would be happy to answer questions. Where phone numbers are presented as an image on a page as at (toyinfo.htm) or as the truncated image at the end of this paragraph the alt caption has phonetically spelled numbers. This is done to prevent machine harvesting of our telephone numbers that would burden our phone lines and people with many junk phone calls.

Our online secure Status/Order/Total system is text based and can be completely operated with the keyboard without need for a mouse. A button press entry into the online secure system brings up a content related checklist that can be scrolled though with the tab key to set an element as the current focus. A different checklist if possible using the "back" key and link to the "toyinfo.htm" page with a general search tool. A new feature on the checklist page is a button to retrieve a full, long checklist. Check boxes can be toggled both directions with the spacebar, and on the next screen quantities can be altered with "delete" and digit keystrokes. When the the element of interest has current focus the spacebar pushes action buttons and the enter key activates hyperlinks. Pull down boxes can be completely accessed by the arrow keys with or without a first character shortcut. One in-process change is a transition to XHTML compliant formatting to make our web pages more adaptable to different devices like handhelds. There are also ways to enhance your ability to see text and pictures for those with poor visual acuity. Browsers support larger fonts under the "View" menu. Pictures can be captured for more options by right-clicking and copying them onto your computer. Use image processing software, such as Adobe Photoshop, to display pictures at high magnification or with other changes. If you have enlargement equipment, freely print out web pages and view them with whatever works. (Note: All web pages are viewed by receiving a local copy of data files, thus that use is within the copyright protection. Copyright prohibition applies to other duplication beyond personal use for puchase from us such as to set up a competing web site.)

If your challenge is hearing impairment, our telefacsimile and email "manager@durabletoys.com" are ready to facilitate communication with us. An order without a need for targeted answers is easily accomplished completely online as are the majority of our orders; not even one telephone call. An initial machine generated email confirms that an order has been entered, followed by an email from a person and then, if avaiable, an email from UPS or aother with a tracking number. Just use the button on the bottom of a descriptive page or the general BUY - QUOTE and Order/Status/Search/Total tool on "toyinfo.htm". You can also prepare an order for the facsimile or mailbox by entering our system at an "BUY-QUOTE" button and using the "Preview Totals" option and then "Create Faxable Form" to print out a convenient form. Orders by the "preview to fôx or mail" method receive the same machine generated consolidation of shipping and/or discounts as online orders. We welcome calls through the phone company TTY relay service, and we know how to return a call to you the same way to your TTY. We would like to be advised of the methods or sources of available devices to better serve more customers. We all know just a bit of American Sign Language, fingerspelling and some signs- names, no, come, go away and more, but they don't work well over the phone. We have been caught using fingerspelling during the game "Charades", peeving off our friends. Even our dog knows a sign. Don't send morse code over a touch tone phone faster than 5 wpm, •––• •–•• • •– ••• • !

Is the user mobility impaired or otherwise in need of special wheels? We have items that are of use for or by folks that may be recovering from an injury, such as a wagon, which then remains an old favorite after the initial need is gone. For special children, there are tricycles and pedal cars that have a wide size range. For limb impairmet or exercise programs.
