This page describes Kettler's popular Caribic Collection of patio furniture in the design of cross leg wooden beach furniture. These thick double injection massive molded resin chairs look just like wood but without splinters or paint and solid legs deny insects nesting space. The style and strength of these chairs makes them ideal for use as deck chairs aboard yachts and fishing boats. Caribic is an uncoated polished semi-gloss thick resin line of outdoor furniture. Styled closely enough to mix, the top end laquered Tiffany line (now on a separate page) is generally slightly larger and heavier than Caribic. The Caribic Lounger is near full length at 75" long, 25.6" wide and 12" seat height. Its classic design including large side frames and cross members are made from the finest white resin. This design does not knock down enough for UPS shipping so it travels by big truck (like larger tables). The seatback reclines all the way down and the knee and foot area have multiple positions. The two widely spaced, large solid transport wheels with rubber tread allow easy movement. Seating and extension surfaces match the seatback's crosswise open slats. Caribic Highback Chair both matches and constrasts with the lounger. It is narrower at 20" of hip room but the maximum seat height is higher at 16.5". There are four height adjustments of the thick crossed legs all the way down to about 5" high, allowing for full leg extension for a very portable lounger attitude. A black step plate on the back leg crossbar makes it easy to adjust and lock the seat height with one hand. The seatback recliner's four stops are adjusted by a lift of the arms and the seatback folds down independently of the legs, allowing the surfaces sun-shaded storage. The recliner is limited to an angle which maintains stability; with the legs it makes for a chair wtih a total of sixteen positions. There is one fewer (at seven) of the horizontal slats on the seatback compared to the Caribic lounger. Add to your patio's theme with a Caribic white resin Serving Cart. Generous 31" x 19" x 29" high size with bent wood style handle and legs on both ends support two trays. A removable wine or mixer bottle rack fits on either end of the top or the bottom tray. Glossy surface treatment of the shelf and handle surfaces make it easy to clean up spills or residue. Four black and white fendered casters allow mobility and two casters can lock to fix the cart in place. Casters can also be removed from the foot pads for stationary use.
